#This just broke me #literally #the doctor looks so fragile#like you never see him begging this way #and the fact that he’s using those three words #make even more clear the contrast between the old eleven/amy and the present ones #Amy was the strong one during these all 5 episodes #when all along the situation was reversed #it was Amy who needed the Doctor the most #now he’s the ones who can’t let go of her #but here she is again #making her own choice#it’s not about the doctor anymore #it’s not about him asking her to stop waiting or to start a normal life with Rory for his own sake #here in this moment #you can see how strong amy is come to be #how a great woman she’s come to be #she’s not defined by the doctor anymore #although he is and always will be an enormous part of the person she is now #and that’s beautiful to me

It’s like watching Amy’s choice all over again but this time the Doctor didn’t hide behind his dark self. And you can tell how desperate he was, cause it wasn’t like he was leaving her outside a beautiful house with the perfect car and husband. It was a future that he didn’t want for her even if it meant that she’ll still be with Rory. It was a future that could never include him again and this thought he couldn’t bare. Even after all these years of her becoming strong and not waiting for her raggedy man anymore, she was still Amelia Pond to him and he came to show it by trying to keep her by his side until the very end.

Made me cry last night

To be honest it was a little boring - too many balards not enough awesomeness - the one lot that was truely awesome was Montenegro and they didnt even make it through.

However my other favourites Denmark and Ireland made it through - I think Denmark will win this year, their song was really cool :)

Yup! This is in Vancouver; just over on Seymour St near Cambie. I’ve been there a couple times; I love it! 

I think we should all go there for my birthday, yes, mhmm.
